    The compost will produce enough heat to keep the worms warm.

    The compost will produce heat, true.
    But worms can almost freeze and survive, so don’t worry!

    On the other hand, I got this mental picture of worms wearing stripped knitted sweaters and woolly hats with ear flaps! LOL!
